What is EN Battery?
EN refers to the European Norm, a unified standard within the European Union (EU) region. In recent years, due to the global business expansion of Japanese automobile manufacturers, an increasing number of domestic vehicles are now equipped with EN batteries.
Differences in shape between
EN battery and JIS battery
EN Battery
- Has a lower height.
- Terminals are positioned lower than the lid.
- Equipped with a bottom base for easy and secure attachment.
- Basically fixed at the bottom (with some exceptions).
JIS Battery
- Has a greater height.
- Terminals are positioned higher than the lid.
- Basically fixed at the top.
