What makes this “high-spec” performance possible?
By adopting thinner plates than conventional designs, the number of plates has been increased. This enlarges the contact surface area between the active material and the electrolyte, achieving a significant performance rank improvement of up to 130% compared with conventional models※2.

Charging Acceptance Performance Up to 1.8 Times Higher Than Non-Super Quick Charging Models
In PREMIUM PLUS, the use of a proprietary additive formulation finely disperses the negative active material, significantly increasing the amount of charge that can be accepted within a limited time.
By making the most of limited charging opportunities and enabling rapid charging, operating time of the alternator is reduced, which also contributes to improved fuel efficiency.
Super quick charging extends battery life
Super quick charging also suppresses sulfation
By significantly increasing the amount of charge that can be accepted within a given time, the state of charge recovers quickly even in Start-Stop vehicles and charging-controlled vehicles.
This makes sulfation less likely to progress.
Plates That Withstand Harsh Operating Conditions
Significantly Improved Durability (Three Times Longer Than Conventional Models in SBA Life Tests※)
In PREMIUM PLUS, a fine-mesh structure is adopted for the plates.
This design prevents deterioration of the current-collecting areas even under frequent high-current discharges caused by repeated engine starts.
